ABOUT ME
Mark Simpson
A psychologist seeks to understand you in your world and help you work out how to overcome the problems that are preventing you from living life in a way you consider meaningful.
Mark’s mission is help you to live a healthier and more purposeful life based on what you value as important. Others who have benefitted from his counsel have reported that they appreciate his calm, gentle and caring manner, and that they have learned and changed from the insights through his therapy.
Mark works with a range of issues, including ASD, depression and anxiety, addiction and those wanting to change their habits and behaviours. He believes therapy works best when it gives both immediate practical strategies to cope with difficulties and deep, long-lasting emotional and cognitive change.
With a specialisation in sport and exercise psychology, a particular strength of Mark’s is helping athletes, musicians and other performers to improve their practice and performance and help those wanting to implement exercise to overcome barriers, build a healthier lifestyle and achieve their goals.
Mark was born in England, lived in Germany and Sweden and has worked with people from a variety of cultures and backgrounds. He aims to make therapy relatable and specific to each person’s needs. Whether you are simply looking to get off the couch for a healthier life or struggling to function because of the state of your mind, please get in contact to see how Mark would be able to help you.
